Rick and Amy Ridnour

This scholarship honors Rick and Amy Ridnour. Rick and Amy Ridnour strongly believe in investing in NIU and in the success of NIU’s students. Before retiring from NIU, Rick was the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Professor of Marketing and Sales in the College of Business at NIU. Rick was awarded the “Teacher of Excellence” award by the NIU College of Business in 1992. He received an Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award for 2001. In 2003, Rick was inducted into the NIU Northern Star Hall of Fame and into Mortar Board, the National College Senior Honor Society. In 2004, he was named an NIU Presidential Teaching Professor. in 2005, he was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society. In 2006, Rick was honored with an NIU Students’ Choice Award.
