Bruce Rafalson

Bruce Rafalson graduated from NIU with a B.A. in History in 1980 and a Master of Arts in Philosophy in 1983. The Donor won an essay contest in his own graduate studies and believes that the opportunity to present ideas in a public forum is an excellent way to encourage students professionally. In addition, the donor believes that his studies in Philosophy have contributed to his successful law career and he would like to show respect and appreciation for the professors that taught him. After earning his degree in philosophy, the donor graduated in the top 2% of his class in law school and spent several years with the Legal Aid Society in Manhattan representing indigent criminal defendants.
