Charles and Lisa Petersen

Dr. Charles Petersen is a professor and department chair of Operations Management and Information Systems in the College of Business at Northern Illinois University. He earned his Ph.D. from Indiana University and joined NIU as a faculty member in August 1995. Previously, he worked for six years at McDonnell Douglas and earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Washington University. Lisa Petersen earned her B.S. in Accountancy in 2003 and an MBA in 2013 both from NIU. She is currently the Director of Finance for the Village of Schaumburg. Charles and Lisa have four adult children: Billy, Julia, Andrew, and Christopher.
