Dr. Elizabeth Towell

Dr. Elizabeth Towell is the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Academic Affairs in the College of Business at Northern Illinois University. She earned a Ph.D. in management information systems from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1993 and served as faculty in the Department of Operations Management and Information Systems atNIU from 1993-1999. She previously worked for six years at Texas Instruments in the Semiconductor Division and ten years at Carroll University as a Computer Science faculty member and Vice Provost. Dr. Towell serves on the Western Division- Chicago Board for Junior Achievement and is a Consultant-Evaluator for the Higher LearningCommission. She is married to Dr. John Towell with whom she has three children and four grandchildren.
