Joyce C. Pugh

Joyce C. Pugh was born in DeKalb, Illinois on January 1, 1920. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1942 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a concentration in music and music education. For many years Joyce was a homemaker, taking care of her husband and her parents. She had lived in California for 29 years and in Texas for 18 years, finally ending up back in DeKalb. She died on March 9, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer.
