Mr. Stephen Irving

Steve Irving is a 1973 graduate of Northern Illinois University’s political science program. After graduation, Steve founded Irving Construction Company, one of northern Illinois’ premier general contractors. Steve and his wife Teresa are dedicated to helping people achieve their fullest potential in life and have established scholarships at several organizations in DeKalb County. They are funding the Irving Business and Entrepreneurship Award at Northern because of their desire to help hard working students (business or non-business majors) achieve their dream of starting a business or establishing a career that allows them to apply entrepreneurial talents.
