Mrs. Elizabeth Bradt Reed

Mrs. Elizabeth Bradt Reed

This scholarship endowment has been established in the memory of Anna-Maude Nicholson, a DeKalb public school teacher from 1914 through 1932, when she resigned due to poor health. She was the supervisor of music for the local schools during this period of time. This endowment has been established by Mrs. Elizabeth Bradt Reed of Fairbault, Minnesota and DeKalb, Illinois. Ms. Nicholson was a resident in the Bradt household from the time she arrived in DeKalb until her passing. She was instrumental in providing an important music background to the Bradt children.
