In 1989 the OMRON Foundation established this scholarship with the help of Yoshio Tateisi, President, OMRON, Nick Hahn, Senior Vice President, OMRON, and Tony Tinaglia, Vice President of the Control Components Division, OMRON. Mr. Tatesi said, “OMRON strongly believes that the business institution is a corporate citizen with the responsibility to engage in activities that are for the public good. Therefore, OMRON has established the OMRON Foundation for the administration of an educational scholarship program.”
