Pamela J. Farris

Dr. Pamela J. Farris is a Distinguished Teaching Professor Emeritus from the Department of Literacy and Elementary Education. Dr. Farris is a well-known scholar in the areas of language arts and social studies education, and she has authored multiple textbooks for use in undergraduate and graduate teacher education methods courses. Dr. Farris is also author of several books for children and young adults, and she makes many author visits to elementary and middle schools to share her books and her passion for reading and writing.
