Peter Perino, friends, and family of Joseph Suhadolc

This scholarship is in memory of Professor Suhadolc who came to NIU in 1959. While at Northern he helped found the Russian Studies Program where he taught Russian until his retirement in 1984. Professor Suhadolc received a doctorate in English from Cambridge University after having received most of his education in Yugoslavia where many of his family members still live. Dr. Suhadolc was a well-recognized professor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.
