Philip E. Ross

Philip E. Ross, a 1973 accountancy graduate in the NIU College of Business, established this memorial scholarship in memory of Phyllis L. Ross, his beloved wife who passed away on January, 21, 1999. Mr. Ross lives in Montgomery, IL and is retired from the Sundstrand Corporation and is the father of three adult children. Phyllis L. Ross was an active employee at Rockford Memorial Hospital for 23 years. She was employed in the Emergency Department as a clinical secretary and supervisor. Phyllis always wanted to be a nurse, but her marriage and children first. The donor hopes that this scholarship will help other aspiring nurses achieve their degree and enter the nursing profession.
