Rosalie Hewitt

Rosalie Hewitt came to Northern Illinois University in 1969 and was a faculty member in the Department of English from 1969 through 1998. The last six years of her tenure at Northern Illinois University she served as the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education. From the time Rosalie started her own undergraduate studies until she received her doctoral degree, she benefited from the generosity of many individuals who contributed to student scholarships in higher education. With this particular scholarship, Rosalie hopes that other students, with a love for all things literary, will also receive support during times when a small gift can make all the difference.
