Susan Lambert

Susan Lambert was a December 2004 graduate of Northern Illinois University, where she majored in elementary education. This scholarship is being granted in loving memory of her uncle, Dr. Laurence A. Mack. Dr. Mack received his A.B. degree from Oberlin College and his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago. He joined the U.S. Public Health Service, then served residency at the University of Colorado (Denver), followed by a fellowship in ultrasound and tomography at the same institution. He began his academic career at the University of Washington (Seattle), where he became a professor of radiology, as well as the director of ultrasound at the university.
