William and Dian Taylor

William and Dian Taylor are graduates of Northern Illinois University College of Business and Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC). Mr. Taylor received his BS in Accountancy from Northern in 1967 following an earlier degree from LaSalle-Peru-Oglesby Junior College (the predecessor to IVCC). He is an Illinois CPA. Mrs. Taylor received her MBA from Northern in 1979 having previously received a BS in Mathematics from there in 1966 and a degree from the junior college. She also received a teaching certificate in Illinois.
Mr. Taylor was a partner in Deloitte & Touche USA LLP until his retirement and served as a member of its Board of Directors, as well as that of its global organization, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. He served as lead partner to one of Deloitte’s most significant clients for over fifteen years. During that time, he was a principal advisor in many of the largest corporate buyouts in history. Prior to this role, he led the Chicago Tax Practice for Deloitte and served many of its major clients. He has served as a member of the Northern Illinois University College of Business Board of Executive Advisors and other professional and civic organizations in the Chicago area. In addition, he has served as a NIU Foundation Board member, Treasurer, and successfully chaired its Finance Committee through some of the most difficult economic times this country has experienced.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Northern Board of Chicago Youth Centers and led its Summer Fund, which provides camp experience to inner-city youth. She is also an active supporter of other youth and educational organizations in Chicago and its North Shore.
Mr. and Mrs. Taylor received an important combination of quality education and individual attention from instructors and faculty advisors at Northern Illinois University and Illinois Valley Community College. Both institutions were invaluable in helping prepare them for the success they have enjoyed.
